STEVE MAY is a Bible teacher, author, musician, and missionary. He is a popular developer of teaching resource materials used by thousands of pastors worldwide. Each week Steve’s Monday Memo is sent to 8,000 subscribers.

Steve entered the ministry at 18. He has served as a youth leader, worship director, associate pastor, and pastor. After serving churches in Oklahoma, Tennessee and California, he settled down as a writer in a small Tennessee community.

Steve spent the next ten years developing preaching and teaching resources for pastors and ministry leaders. In 2003, Steve’s publishing company was acquired by Christianity Today International. Steve remains a contributing editor to the Preaching Today staff.

In October 2004 Steve took a sabbatical from writing and began Project Brasil, a ministry in Rio de Janeiro offering educational opportunities, computer training and medical assistance to impoverished communities.

Still involved in ministry in Rio, Steve returned to writing when he launched About Sunday — an online library of preaching and teaching resources for pastors and Bible study group leaders.

Steve is the author of eight books. His newest book, Like a Rock, a study of 1 Thessalonians, is available from Amazon.
