PERMISSIONS FOR USING THE MONDAY MEMO.
The
memos and devotionals that appear at the Monday Memo website first appeared at
About Sunday, an subscription-based online service featuring
sermons and preaching resources by Steve May. Some memos have also
been culled from
Steve's books. When we use another source (quoting from a Max
Lucado book, for example) we cite the source so you'll be able to
locate the original text.
It is our
hope that the Monday Memo is an encouragement to you, that it gives
you a lift as you begin your week, that it challenges you to be a
more effective leader and a more devoted follower of Christ. Since
most Monday Memo readers are in the ministry, we are often asked
about permission to use these memos in a ministry environment.
PREACHING. You are
welcome to use these memos in any way that serves your preaching and
teaching ministry -- as sermon illustrations, as sermon starters,
staff meeting devotionals, etc. You can use your own discretion
in citing the source.
BLOGS
AND NEWSLETTERS. If you
repost a Monday Memo to your blog, or reprint a Monday Memo in your
church newsletter, we ask that you reference the Monday Memo
website.
For
example, if you repost to you blog, you can give us a "hat tip" --
(HT: The Monday Memo)
When you
reprint in your church bulletin or newsletter, something like :
"From mondaymemo.com. © 2011. Used by permission."
CHURCH BULLETINS. Also,
remember that many Monday Memos are available as
bulletin
inserts. you can print as many as you need and use them as often
as you wish.
Thank
you for visiting the Monday Memo website. We hope these devotionals
are an inspiration to you personally, and help you in your sermon
and lesson preparation.
